“With this exercise, you use your legs as if you were riding a bike. This engages the abs because you’re doing this while lying down,” says Montanez. “Lie face up on a mat and place your hands behind your head, lightly supporting it with your fingertips. Bring your knees into your chest, lifting your shoulder blades off the floor without pulling on the neck. Rotate to the left by bringing your right elbow towards your left knee as you straighten the opposite leg. Switch sides, bringing your left elbow towards your right knee. Continue alternating sides in a smooth motion. Do three sets, 15-20 reps each set!
